Harjit Singh Jagdev qualified as a solicitor in 1986 with a leading Birmingham legal aid practice. He has extensive experience in defending serious criminal prosecutions. Today, Harjit is a specialist defence advocate and is entitled to appear in the Higher Criminal Courts as a Solicitor Advocate. He is extremely well connected within the legal industry and beyond. There are generations of clients who will testify to the hard work and commitment he has shown them and other professionals. There are many success stories to his name. More recently he has appeared in high profile cases involving drones, murders and fraud.

Joy qualified as a solicitor in 2004. Her primary area is personal injury and medical negligence, helping clients in recovery seeking compensation. However, she also has extensive experience of litigation generally. She has had tremendous success in helping her clients where there have been data/ confidentiality breaches by employers.

Manjeet is an experienced secretary with many years of experience in the legal industry and she has a keen interest in property matters. As the first port of contact for many of our clients, she is friendly, caring and extremely attentive to their needs and concerns. Manjeet is a Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP). As qualified Psychotherapist she can offer Counselling services to our clients (subject to terms and conditions).

Areena qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and then went on to attain her Higher Rights Qualification in 2009 adding to her experience in dealing with the full spectrum of criminal cases in the Youth, Magistrates and Crown Courts. She has a wealth of experience in matters which are high profile and complex in nature, drawn especially from having worked closely with members of the Bar since 1997. She is fully committed to maintaining high professional standards and is well-regarded within the senior legal community.

Balraj embarked on his academic journey at Keele University, where he studied Law with a focus on Human Resource Management. His path led him to a well-established firm in Birmingham, where he honed his skills and eventually qualified as a solicitor.

Today, Balraj boasts a versatile legal practice that centres on family litigation, holding the esteemed Law Society Family Accreditation. His expertise extends to civil disputes as well. In family law, Balraj excels in resolving financial, children, and domestic abuse disputes arising from divorce or separation. He possesses knowledge concerning international aspects of family law relating to the United Arab Emirates, England, and Wales.

Balraj's work encompasses a variety of legal areas. He has a keen interest in cases involving disputes arising from Wills, Probate, and the Administration of Estates. Additionally, his involvement extends to cases where capacity becomes a concern, necessitating applications in the Court of Protection.

Balraj's commitment to growth is evident through his academic and practical pursuits. He has completed the academic stage of the Family Mediation Course with National Family Mediation, showcasing his dedication to facilitating resolutions. Currently, as the Managing Director, Balraj holds supervisory responsibility across various practice areas. Under his leadership, the practice has successfully navigated significant transformations over the past three years. Balraj's forward-thinking approach is further demonstrated by his completion of the Growth Course at Aston University in 2021/2022, which positions the practice at the forefront of the evolving professional services landscape.

Ian Gold was a solicitor who held a practicing certificate for over 50 years. He specialised in crime, but the breadth of his experience was of enormous value to the practice and its clients. Ian is retired and no longer practicing.

Michael O'Mahoney

Michael O'Mahoney

As of 1st November 2022, Michael is retired and is no longer a practicing solicitor. He was a solicitor in Birmingham for 40 years. He had extensive experience in all kinds of Criminal Law and is an experienced advocate. He regularly appeared in the Magistrates' court in the West Midlands and often attended the police station with clients under investigation by the police. He had vast experience in working with Barristers, in cases which went to the crown court.

David Jaffa

David was a Solicitor and Advocate for many years with substantial experience in criminal cases conducted in the Magistrates’ Court and as a Higher Court Advocate in the Crown Court. He was a longstanding member of the Duty Solicitor scheme and advised clients in Police custody. David is retired and no longer practicing.
